SpiritWave Rhythms offers drum circle events for the community, educational institutions and the workplace.  We take pride in offering you an amazing experience that's unique and fun as well as educational.

SpiritWave Rhythms offers educational programs to schools and organizations that wish to expand on or create a rhythm program. These programs can be tailored to the needs of the school or organization. We offer individual lessons as well as workshops ranging from small groups to large assemblies. We work closely with your group to insure a positive learning experience and outcome.

Drum Circles are a way of building community spirit through rhythm and movement. Participants are given the opportunity to express their own creative rhythms while being a part of a larger whole. The Circle helps create team building and communication/listening skills while expressing one’s own individuality in a group environment.

Each piece is spontaneous and unique to the group at that time. Different rhythmic games and exercises are presented so that people on all levels can participate in the fun and growth of one’s self and the group.

Each person is given a drum or rhythmic instrument to play. Often we will trade instruments so everyone can get a feel for the different sounds and possibilities that can be created by each instrument. As we move through the various rhythms and pieces that we are creating, people may experience a new sense of their self and of the group.

An awareness may arise in an individual that may otherwise never presented itself, creating a new sense of openness and respect for others and themselves.
